Trigger warning: SA and upsetting themes

I feel frightened today. There are some malicious people out there in the world.

This morning I watched a reel about a young woman who had been sexually assaulted by a number of men in a variety of settings in her car.

My heart goes out to the woman, obviously. I expect that she is going to be traumatised by these events for a long time to come. I hope that she gets an abundance of support, including EDMR for processing her traumatic memories.

It is not okay though. What is happening in some people’s minds, such that they could think to do something so devastating to an innocent young woman?
