Nicotine addiction is interesting.
The best part of this episode of psychosis is the deep, deep organising of my home.
What happened? I won’t bore you with ALL the details, . . when did the cleaning start?
When i came home, I guess. . . from my total not-happening holiday to NZ.
Which I couldn’t go on, because i was all alone, and because the Department of Human Services gave me an error message when I attempted to tell them that I was leaving the country on Sunday night (just before my scheduled departure this morning (on the morning of Monday the 31st).
. . . ensue the chaos. . . the scrambling, , , to get there on a plane, but not being on time, (for a 6:30 am flight! – my advice, don’t travel from Melbourne to Wellington. The times of the flights are CRAP – – – they are all early morning or arrive at 11:55 PM after hours of stopovers in Sydney). .. never AAGGAIN…
Birthday celebrations
I did have a small get together with some of my friends. Thankfully only one person brought a present because I particularly asked them not to, and one of my besties gave me a card with some beautiful words inside. So that was nice. We supped on High Tea. And as the same bestie said ‘it was not too stressful’, so I felt like I was out of the woods. . . except for the simple fact that I had no plans to see my parents on a MILESTONE birthday.
Long story short, I realised that the plans for my birthday were complete chaos, , , and even tried to fly to my parent’s home, but couldn’t do that, for terms of reference ideas that i won’t share at this time. . . and a phone call from my brother ADN from my niece **prayer hands emoji.
Long story short (really?), I spent my birthday in an uber to and from the airport, on the phone to my mum and dad and then on the phone to the CATT team. I don’t really want to remember what happened in the evening. I think I had not too bad a time, because I remember having a nice conversation with my mum, , , a difficult but rewarding conversation with my brother (oh no1) and I was grateful for the people who had reached out. . .
Sleep is my enemy
The upshot was that I didn’t sleep for four days, and the CATT team members said it was any wonder that I was confused. Last night I slept from 5 pm to 100 pm, , , haha 11 PM, , , and about 12 AM until 5 AQM, , , so they were very happy with me. And the doctor who kindly came and prescribed me olanzapine PRN for sleeping purposes said that he trusted I was in a well enough frame of mind to sort out the broken lock on my door (find a tradie etc) on my own. . . .
They also noticed that I was wearing some nice necklaces, and the doctor commented that I am clearly ‘industrious’ with all the piles of projects, notes and lists on my spiffing new dining table come desk that he sat at in front of me.
